The Australian National Centre for Latin American Studies (ANCLAS), the Gender Institute, and the Embassy of Ecuador in Australia were thrilled to host former head of state for Ecuador, Ms. RosalĂ­a Arteaga for a special presentation on Gender and Education in Latin America.

A champion of education and gender equity, Ms. Arteaga led a vibrant panel discussion in conversation with ANU experts Professor Bruce Chapman and Dr. Bernardo Pereira Nunes. The panel was chaired by ANCLAS Co-Director Dr. Caroline Schuster.
